Everything below is based on what Quality Detail actually offers. If something is not covered here, call and ask.

Still unsure

Prefer
to talk?

Call (210) 363-7307, Tuesday to Saturday, 7am to 5pm. You will speak to someone who knows the work.

Do you come to my home or workplace?

Yes. Quality Detail is a fully mobile operation. We come to your home, your office, or wherever is most convenient for you across San Antonio and the surrounding areas.

Do I need to provide water or electricity?

No. Our unit arrives with its own deionized water and its own dedicated power supply. Nothing needs to be connected at your property.

How much does mobile detailing cost?

The Basic Maintenance Clean starts at $149 for cars and $179 for SUVs and trucks. A Full Detail is $325 for cars, $375 for SUVs and trucks, and $450 for large SUVs, trucks and vans. The Mobile Premium Detail is $550, $650 and $750. Final price depends on vehicle size, condition and the services you select.

What is included in a Full Detail?

Inside: mats removed and cleaned, full vacuum including seat rails and crevices, panels and vents scrubbed and steam cleaned, carpets and upholstery shampooed and extracted as needed, leather cleaned and conditioned, interior windows cleaned streak free. Outside: hand wash, wheels, tires, wheel wells and door jambs, engine bay cleaned and dressed, compressed air dry, a three month paint protective sealant and tire dressing.

What is not included in the Basic Maintenance Clean?

Shampooing, steam cleaning, stain removal, extraction, machine polishing, pet hair removal and odour treatment. Those sit in the Full Detail.

How long does a detail take?

A regular detailing session lasts around three to four hours. Larger vehicles, heavy interior work and paint correction take longer, and we will tell you the expected window when we quote.

How often should I have my vehicle detailed?

Two to four times a year suits most vehicles in this climate.

What is paint correction?

Paint correction restores and rejuvenates paintwork by removing surface imperfections that dull, oxidise or haze the finish. That includes swirl marks and fine scratches, bird dropping and acid rain etching, hologramming, buffer trails and isolated deeper scratches.

What is a ceramic coating?

A ceramic coating is a liquid, flexible and transparent layer made mainly of inorganic SiO2 or TiO2. It sits on the paint as a hard, hydrophobic sacrificial layer, protecting the surface from environmental factors such as UV.

What ceramic coating options are available?

Three levels. Level 1 at $800 for three years, Level 2 at $1,200 for six years, and Level 3 at $2,000 for a lifetime coating. All include a complete exterior detail, paint decontamination and a one step polish. Interior and wheel coatings are available as add ons.

How long does window tinting take?

Most installations are completed within one to two hours, depending on the vehicle and the number of windows. Windshield and sunroof add ons take a little longer.

What is the difference between carbon and ceramic tint?

Carbon tint gives excellent heat rejection and a matte black appearance. Ceramic tint, such as Geoshield Pro Nano, offers superior heat and infrared rejection without relying on dark dyes, so you get clearer visibility and stronger long term performance.

Do you detail trucks and SUVs?

Constantly. Pricing is banded by size: cars, SUVs and trucks, and large SUVs, trucks and vans, which covers third row vehicles, lifted trucks, dually trucks and other oversized vehicles.

Do you detail RVs and boats?

Yes. We offer professional RV detailing and protection, and boat detailing that restores shine and helps protect against harsh marine conditions. Both are quoted on site.

Do you service agricultural equipment?

Yes. Tractors, farm machinery and heavy equipment can be detailed and ceramic coated so they stay cleaner, better protected and ready for work.

What areas do you serve?

San Antonio, Boerne, Fair Oaks Ranch and Selma, plus Stone Oak, Shavano Park, Alamo Ranch, Castle Hills, Helotes, Leon Valley, Terrell Hills and Kirby. If your address is nearby but not listed, call and we will confirm.

Do I need to prepare my vehicle before the appointment?

Just remove anything personal or valuable you would rather we did not move. We handle everything else.

Do you offer mobile window tinting?

Yes. Our technicians come to your home or office with everything needed for the same quality of installation.

What happens if it rains?

Weather affects outdoor work, particularly polishing and coating, which need a dry, controlled surface. If conditions are not suitable we will contact you to rearrange rather than deliver a compromised finish.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Quality Detail LLC is licensed and insured.
